The traditional winery Dr. Von Bassermann-Jordan was founded in 1718 by Pierre Jordan and further developed into a high-quality wine production by Andreas Jordan.

High-quality wine production was understood as waiting for the perfect time for the grape harvest until the grapes reached noble rot, processing single grape varieties in the cellar, and favoring noble grape varieties.
