The Immich family is one of the oldest winemaking families in Germany. The winery is located in a historic winemaker's villa (built in 1897) in the neo-Gothic style.
The Immich-Anker winery focuses on both private and gastronomy customers and has always been oriented towards export.
Currently managed by Daniel S. Immich in the 17th generation, the winery cultivates 3.5 hectares (35,000 square meters) and is primarily dedicated to the Riesling grape variety.
All wines and sparkling wines are vegan. The winery has been free of insecticides since 1985 and practices environmentally friendly viticulture on steep and extremely steep slopes. With its own photovoltaic system, the winery saves around 20 tons of CO2 and produces all the electricity needed for winemaking itself.
