Weingut Bergdolt

VDP Weingut Bergdolt

We are a family winery, and our home is the Pfalz region. Here, in the wine village of Duttweiler, at the former St. Lamprecht monastery estate, we have been making wine since 1754. Today, we focus primarily on purist Pinot Blancs, mineral-rich Rieslings, elegant Pinot Noirs, and lively sparkling wines – all at top quality.

Our estate has a long and eventful history. Initially, as the former St. Lamprecht monastery estate, it was under church ownership. In 1553, it came under the control of the Electorate, with its revenues benefiting Heidelberg University. In 1754, Jakob Bergdolt took over the estate as a hereditary leaseholder, and during the Napoleonic era, it became our property. Since then, we have been producing our wine here: crafted by hand, precise, and unmistakable.
