The Emil Franz winery was founded over a hundred years ago and has since been a family business producing the finest Mosel wines. The torch of the winery has been passed from the Franz family to us—the Christiansen family.

Our winery is located in the town of Traben-Trarbach, the Art Nouveau gem of the Middle Mosel. This region is known as the heart of the picturesque Mosel Valley's wine-growing area and is renowned for its exceptional Mosel wines in Germany.

Our winery is part of the world-famous cellar vaults of the Traben-Trarbach underground, where tradition and evolution meet. We carry on the rich heritage with an elegant blend of tradition and modern production methods.

By applying contemporary techniques to the classic winemaking processes, we reflect not only the ancient history of viticulture but also a modern finesse that characterizes our outstanding wines.
