Winnica Silesian
About the winery
Wine is an invitation — to meet, share stories, and connect. It tells the story of the place where it was created and the people behind it. Winnica Silesian’s wines speak of the granite slopes of the Sudeten Foothills, a love of horses passed down through generations, and the enduring winemaking traditions of Lower Silesia. Founded by lifelong farmer Jarek Mazurek, the winery remains a true family venture. He tends the vines with care, while his Danish son-in-law Esben crafts the wines — from grape to bottle. Daughters Sonia and Marysia bring creativity and energy to the estate’s operations, design, and guest experiences. Just 500 meters from the winery, our 10.5-hectare vineyard lies 230 meters above sea level on solid granite and granite-rich soils. The mild Sudeten climate, long growing season, and surrounding forests and ponds create a distinctive microclimate, lending purity, structure, and minerality to every bottle. Since 2023, Winnica Silesian has been undergoing EU organic conversion and certification. Our focus on PIWI varieties and minimal-intervention farming reflects our belief that healthy soils and resilient vines are the foundation of expressive, terroir-driven, and authentic wines — and of viticulture prepared for the future.
