About the winery

Johannisberg is our atelier - and this is a unique geological site: barren, hard Taunus quartzite meets the fertile loess deposits of the Rhine Valley. At Weingut Goldatzel, we continue the history of winegrowing in the Rheingau with a modern signature, characterized by craftsmanship and low intervention.
