About the winery

Export-oriented winery with core markets in North America, Central Europe, and Asia is seeking new trade partners in Eastern Europe. The VDP wine estate Beurer cultivates 18 hectares on the steep slopes surrounding Stetten in the Remstal valley. This historic white wine commune boasts some of the most exciting vineyards in all of Württemberg. The Beurer family tends to their vines, exclusively massal selections (eigene Selektionen) across three exceptional terroirs: Gipskeuper (gypsum marl), Schilfsandstein (reed sandstone), and Kieselsandstein (pebble sandstone). Since Jochen and Marion founded the estate in 1997, the vineyards have been managed ecologically, and since 2008, they have transitioned to strictly certified biodynamic farming. Riesling plays the leading role at the estate, accounting for around 65% of production, and is complemented by traditional Swabian red varieties: Lemberger, Trollinger, and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). The portfolio is further expanded by their second label, "RieslingWerk," which features exciting white and red wines made from their own vineyards as well as from grapes sourced from friendly partner estates. With a strong-willed approach and a steadfast focus on nature, this former cooperative member has developed over the past 30 years into one of the most internationally acclaimed German wineries.
