About the winery

We are a young winery, founded only in 2016, in Bensheim in the beautiful region Hessische Bergstrasse. Our teams passion is our vineyards and crafting wines from those vineyards, that are genuine representatives of the region and the granite soils they grow on. The Hessische Bergstrasse region has been shaped by viticulture for centuries. Unlike in other regions, vineyards here were not consolidated, but instead we work with small vineyards, interspersed and interwoven with sunken lanes, gardens, meadows and trees. This creates a kind of permaculture with vineyards that precisely reflect every change in the soil. To capture this terroir authentically in the bottle, we invest most of our work in the vineyard. We rely on harvest by hand and in the cellar on time, craftsmanship, experience and intuition. This is how we produce our Pinot Noir and white Burgundy varieties, but our hearts also beat for Riesling, Silvaner and Syrah. The result of our work are wines with character, that show the passion and joy that we feel for this product with every sip.
