About the winery

Weingut Hey is a family-run winery based in the Saale-Unstrut region, one of Germany’s northernmost and most distinctive wine-growing areas. Shaped by steep terraces, shell limestone soils, and a cool climate, our vineyards produce wines with remarkable freshness, precision, and character. Since 2019, we have been proud members of the VDP (Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter), reflecting our commitment to quality, origin, and craftsmanship. With great respect for nature and a hands-on approach in both vineyard and cellar, we focus on expressing the unique identity of our sites. Our wines combine clarity, elegance, and a lively minerality that reflects their origin.
