About the winery

Guldbæk Vingård is a small, family-run winery in North Jutland, Denmark. We work in a cool climate, close to the limit of what is viable. The vineyard is planted with varieties chosen for resilience and for how they express themselves here. We aim for freshness, balance, and precision shaped by the season. We work on a modest scale. That allows us to stay close to what happens in the vineyard and in the cellar. Decisions are guided by observation and restraint rather than a fixed style. We produce a small range of still and sparkling wines. They reflect the site, the year, and our ongoing attempt to understand what Danish wine in Himmerland can be.
