VÍNO J. STÁVEK
About the winery
A family winery from Němčičky in the Modré Hory region, VÍNO J. STÁVEK builds its identity around Frankovka (Blaufränkisch) as a key red grape of Moravia. Across multiple generations, the winery has developed a distinctive approach to the variety, working with it in a wide range of styles rather than a single expression. Led by Jan Stávek, often referred to as a “King of Frankovka”, the winery creates wines that move from rustic and structured reds to rosé, cuvée and even blanc de noirs styles. Alongside this, fortified wines remain a rare and defining part of the portfolio. The result is a portfolio built on variety, tradition and clear regional identity, with wines designed to work across different moments of gastronomy. Our line-up shows Frankovka across different interpretations – from a unique white expression of Bílá Frankovka, fresh, fruit-driven rosé Tercie, classic regional style and terroir-led Frankovka VOC, to Karmazín based on inherited recipes, supported by Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon.
