About the winery

Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf is more than a winery to us—it is our heritage and our responsibility. Since 1597, we have been rooted in the Pfalz, guided by the belief that great wines are born in the vineyard. We cultivate around 85 hectares in some of the region’s most renowned sites, focusing primarily on Riesling. Each vineyard has its own character, and our goal is to express this individuality with clarity and precision. Our wines reflect their origin—structured, mineral, and full of life. Working biodynamically is central to our philosophy. By treating our vineyards as living ecosystems, we strengthen the natural balance of soil and vines, allowing each vintage to develop its true character. In the cellar, we take a minimalist approach. With native yeasts and gentle aging in large oak casks, we guide rather than shape our wines, preserving their purity and sense of place. For us, Bürklin-Wolf is a balance of tradition and innovation—creating wines that are authentic expressions of our land.
