"Weingut am Nil"
About the winery
The Weingut am Nil is situated in the heart of Kallstadt in the Palatinate. It takes its name from the historic single vineyard site ‘Nil’ – now part of the ‘Kallstadter Saumagen’ – and is renowned for its prestigious vineyard sites and top-quality wines that reflect their terroir. Since the 15th century, the lion has been the emblem of the village of Kallstadt and has since symbolised strength and dynamism. These two qualities are evident not only in our significant vineyard sites, but also in the characteristic purple colour that runs like a thread through the winery. A guesthouse with 15 rooms, as well as a variety of Nil events, offer the opportunity to discover the Palatinate from its purple side.
