Cave Mandolé

Cave Mandolé is the heart and vision of Lisa and Chiara, who first crossed paths as students in 2015. Six years of exploration and travels across the globe to discover the world’s diverse wine regions led them to Valais, Switzerland, in 2021.

Captivated by its breathtaking contrasts, native grape varieties, and intricate terroir, they embraced the opportunity to take over Cave Mandolé, 7 hectares of steep parcels on the awe-inspiring alpine hillsides.

Valais offers both challenges and rewards. Its dramatic, steep slopes demand hands-on care, while the unpredictable climate calls for adaptability. Their mission is clear: to minimize environmental impact, enrich biodiversity, and let the essence of the land shine through in wines full of energy, freshness, and stories to tell.

Cave Mandolé is a place of creation, not just for wine but for connection and art. From graffiti collaborations, concerts and food-and-wine pairings with emerging chefs, Mandolé reimagines the winery experience. Every project reflects the commitment to blending tradition, creativity, and community.
