Cave Mandolé

In the Cave Mandolé, there is true passion. Passion for nature, for the vines, and for the wines of the region. This passion comes from their father Noël, who retired in 2020 after more than fifty years of work and support.

Their estate spans just over 6 hectares of land, planted with a dozen grape varieties. The parcels are located across the municipalities of Saillon, Saxon, and Fully. They are all densely interspersed with shrubs, including crown vetch, fig trees, and of course, almond trees.

By the way, the name "Mandolé," given by the ancestors of the winery, is a reworking of the local field name Les Amandiers – the almond trees.

From pruning the vines to tending the leaves, everything is done exclusively by hand. The winery combines technology with tradition. With passion and care, Angelin and Didier Thétaz produce exceptional terroir wines. Wines full of character – just like the canton of Valais.
