Domaine L+R Kox

In 1977, Laurent Kox took over the family business from his father François. Laurent loved spending time on the steep hillsides of Remich and experiencing the cycle of the grapes in the vineyard. He fulfilled his dream by converting his hobby into profession. In 2019, Corinne, Laurent's daughter, took over the reigns of the family winery.

Together, the two winemakers continue the family tradition, the pursuit of excellent wines. The particular concern of the winemakers is a respectful management of the vineyard in order to produce its quality grapes.

Laurent Kox was one of the pioneers in the production of Crémants de Luxembourg. It is therefore not surprising that 30 years later, thanks to this experience, the winery has the widest range of crémants in the Moselle area.

Never satisfied, Laurent and Corinne innovate and explore, both in viticulture and oenology, with multiple aims: to improve the quality of wines and crémants or to increase the ecological, economic and social sustainability of viticulture in Luxembourg. Combining authenticity, culture and ancestral methods, their winery has been able to distinguish itself by creating exceptional wines, particularly with the natural wines and the wines vinified in its kvevris.

This dynamic family is the result of a passion for wine, respect for the vineyard and oenological skills.
