Weingut Jus Naturae

The Jus Naturae winery was founded in 2020 by Florian Wecker with the support of France Dejonckheere.

Both had previously worked as lawyers and founders, but neither found the passion and purpose they were looking for.

As a passionate wine enthusiast, Florian took part in the grape harvest at the Alois Lageder winery in South Tyrol (Italy) in 2016, where his enthusiasm for viticulture and enology was finally ignited.

When the opportunity arose to acquire an overgrown, absolutely top-quality steep slope with old Riesling vines in Kinheim, Florian and France did not hesitate for long and restored the vineyard, which was threatened by forced clearing.

The foundation stone for Jus Naturae was laid. The winery now cultivates 1.3 hectares of vines, focussing on top steep slopes with old Riesling vines.
