Weingut Kohl
Since 1753, our estate in the Palatinate has been family-owned.
In 1975, Rainer Kohl established the winery with its own estate bottling. His daughter, Annette Kohl, has been leading the operation since 2015 as a career changer in the second generation.
We cultivate 9 hectares of vineyards in harmony with nature, the weather, and the vines.
For over 15 years, we have been growing our wine free of herbicides and artificial fertilizers.
In the second half of 2019, we decided to transition the entire operation to meet the strict quality standards of certified organic viticulture. This decision was driven by a sense of responsibility toward nature and humanity.
Our cellar master, Michael Mader (Dipl. Ing. FH), has been overseeing winemaking since 2020, while Rainer Kohl continues to manage the outdoor operations.
As an organic winery, we place great emphasis on gentle aroma-preserving vinification that reflects the vintage-specific individuality of our wines.
With the 2023 vintage, we have already bottled our second organic wine vintage! We hope you enjoy it. Certified according to DE-ÖKO-039.
