Great wines have always been made here! The soils simply provide the best foundation for it. For over 200 years, our family has passionately dedicated itself to viticulture. Since Johannes studied in Geisenheim and began working with his father, they’ve been able to combine their knowledge to create even more authentic Pinots and Rieslings.
We produce wines that bear a distinctive signature. Our goal is not to invent something entirely new but to thoughtfully carry forward the work of generations and continually improve quality.
Riesling, as well as white and red Pinot varieties, are the perfect partners for our soils and climate.
We’re not aiming for superficial effects but rather to craft balanced and individual wines. Because we put in a lot of manual effort in the vineyard to cultivate perfect grapes, we allow each wine to develop as it wishes in the cellar.
Expression, character, and drinking pleasure – that’s what we want our Rieslings and Pinots to embody.
