The idea for our vineyard came to us on holiday in beautiful Tuscany, but it took a long time to find the perfect place to establish it.
We wanted to live in harmony with nature and grow grapes in a pristine environment to achieve the highest quality fruit. Szafarnia turned out to be an ideal location for a vineyard, surrounded by fields, forests, and lakes bordering the Brodnica Landscape Park.
In 2017, we planted 3,500 vines, and in 2020, we added another 3,000. We selected ten grape varieties adapted to our northern climate. For white wines, we chose Solaris, Muscaris, Seyval Blanc, Johanniter, Hibernal, Bianca, and a touch of Chardonnay for variety. For rosé and red wines, we planted Regent, Cabernet Cortis, and Leon Millot.
All vineyard maintenance and grape harvesting are done by hand, allowing us to closely monitor the health of the vines and the quality of the grapes. We produce our wines according to traditional winemaking methods, with the vinification process carefully overseen to ensure the highest quality wines.
Currently, we produce dry white, red, and rosé wines.
Grape cultivation, winemaking, and the wine itself are our full-time passion and work. It’s fascinating how each year in the vineyard is different, giving us the opportunity to create unique wines. We look forward to the coming years in the vineyard and winery, eager to experiment with new winemaking techniques. We warmly invite you to visit our vineyard and enjoy a glass of wine with us.
