The dragonfly, our symbol, stands for the symbiosis of closeness to nature and floating beauty. Dragonflies are bioindicators, they go through metamorphoses like our sparkling wine.
In 2011, Rüdiger Flik founded Flik Sektmanufaktur as an up-and-coming start-up. The idea of creating an outstanding drink using traditional bottle fermentation never left Rüdiger Flik's mind.
His first own sparkling wine was thus created in 2011.
n 2016, Flik Sektmanufaktur moved to the Marienhof in Mainz, which has been home to the sparkling wine cellar for 12 centuries. A now successful membership of the Association of Verband Traditioneller Sektmacher and multiple awards from Vinum leave no doubt that the talented manufactory is constantly growing and creating enviable products.
The production and contract sparkling of Flik Sektmanufaktur are certified organic for good reason. Riesling, Chardonnay or a Pinot Meunir, the winemaker traditionally follows his task of producing excellent sparkling wines from the grape juice.
Fresh and full of zest for action, wines full of character and perfected sparkling wines are created by hands that seem to have been born for the job.
