In 2009, shortly after completing my studies, I, Fabian Schmidt, was given the opportunity to establish myself at the historic winery from the 13th century, located right next to the St. Peter and Paul Church.
The wines quickly became popular with wine enthusiasts and restaurateurs. Over time, our operation has grown from 3.5 hectares to over 12 hectares, and since 2023, we have been a certified Demeter farm.
Our focus is on a gentle approach to nature and spontaneously fermented, unrefined, high-quality wines.
