The Weinreich Winery
The Weinreich winery is located in a part of Rheinhessen known as Wonnegau. With a name like "Weinreich" (literally "rich in wine") and roots in Wonnegau, there’s really only one path to take: dedicating your life to wine… and that’s exactly what we’ve done!
Since 2009, the winery has been under the leadership of Marc & Jan Weinreich. It is managed with a strict commitment to organic principles, the grapes are hand-harvested, and the winemaking process follows a natural approach.
This ensures the creation of wines that reflect the unspoiled character of the vineyards around Bechtheim. Only by working in harmony with the natural and original conditions of the soil can wines be produced that are rich in character, carrying the distinct signature of both the winemaker and their origin.
The range is intentionally kept streamlined – less choice, more focus on essentials – making it easier to decide. The spotlight is on Riesling, Burgunder (Pinot varieties), and Scheurebe.
Our estate, village, and single-vineyard wines shine with minerality and authenticity. They reflect the terroir of Bechtheim’s finest vineyards.
A Passion for Sparkling Wine
Our greatest passion is sparkling wine. With a focus on Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, we bring bubbles to life! The foundation of our success lies in using the best grapes for our sparkling wine base, maturing them in small oak barrels, and applying traditional bottle fermentation methods.
